I have my nc obc certificate in the same format as given by the iim site.It will work or i have to download the format form iim??

Yes NC OBC certainly shall work if it natches or is similar to prescribed format by IIMs.
It should be approved by any gazzetted authority to make it full proof.
You can get it checked by college authorities by sending them mail and scanned copy of your document incase you feel its insufficient.
