I have rank 8504 in pgcet mca so I need a help to make a list of colleges in Banglore for option entry

Hey there,

Yes. With a Karnataka PGCET MCA rank of 8,504, you should prepare a long option-entry list rather than choosing only the top colleges.

For Bangalore, a practical preference order could include:

1. Acharya Institute of Technology

2. New Horizon College of Engineering

3. BMS Institute of Technology & Management

4. CMR Institute of Technology

5. Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering

6. Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology

7. REVA University

8. Kristu Jayanti College

9. Jain University

Important: Your actual chances depend heavily on your category (GM/2A/2B/3A/3B/SC/ST), domicile, and whether you're applying through KEA government/PGCET quota. Also, some colleges may not offer MCA through the particular PGCET counselling round.

If you tell me your category + whether you are a Karnataka domicile/local candidate, I can make you a 30–40 college option-entry list for Bangalore in exact preference order, divided into safe / moderate / ambitious choices.

Thanks

Nischal
