I have scored 479 in neet 2019. Do I stand a chance to get into a GMC in Maharashtra under the state merit(85%).I belong to the general cat.

Hi Aishwarya, First of all congratulations on your score in Neet 2019. I am sorry to tell that according to previous years cut off i.e 70% regional was 544 and 35% State quota was 603. But you can apply for some other colleges in Maharashtra under  70% regional quota according to previous year cut off like

• Shri Vasant Rao Naik Government Medical College, Yavatmal with cutoff 400 marks
• Government Medical College, Akola with cutoff 428 marks
• Gondia Government Medical College with cut off 475

As per the marks that you have mentioned I would like to tell you that you have fair chances in colleges like Shri Vasant Rao Naik Govt. Medical College, Yavatmal and government medical college akola as last year least marks to secure a seat in both colleges were 400 and 428 marks respectively. Remember cutoff varies every year depending on number of students appearing in exam, difficulty level of exam, students scoring more than you and your category.
