I have scored 506 in neet. i am obc delhi. My father is in cisf. Can i get afmc delhi under ministry of home affairs quota.
Well, It is very unfortunate but ACMS delhi doesn't provide any seats for wards of paramilitary personnel. Majority of seats are reserved for wards of Army personnel. There is no quota for MHA there.
Hi Jyoti,
In the year 2018, the cut-off for girls was 551 for admission into AFMC. In 2017, it was 600, in 2016, 536. Also, there are no reserved seats for obc category in AFMC. The last years' information brochure for admission into AFMC MBBS say, "A total of 145 medical cadets (117 boys & 28 girls) will be admitted tentatively for the year 2018. In addition to the above 145 seats, Govt of India at its discretion through Ministry of External Affairs & Ministry of Defence may sponsor and select five (05) NEET qualified foreign students from friendly foreign countries for MBBS training in AFMC, under their aid / collaboration programmes."
So, you see there are vague chances of getting into AFMC with a score of 506. However, getting into other reputed medical colleges would be pretty much easy, given that you are OBC and also have Ministry of Home Affairs Quota.
Thanks, hope this helps.
