Hello aspirant!!!
Hope you are doing well.
To get admitted to any B.Tech course, you will need to give an entrance exam. There are many state colleges which accepts scores other than JEE Mains. For eg. MHCET(Maharashtra), KCET(Karnataka), WBJEE(West Bengal), UPSEE(Uttar Pradesh). Eligibility criteria varies from state to state. The good colleges are
1.VJTI, Mumbai
2.SPCE,Mumbai
3.Jadhavpur University, West Bengal
4.Kalyani Government Engineering College, West Bengal
5.Institute Of Engineering And Technology, Uttar Pradesh
6.Harcourt Butler Technological University, Uttar Pradesh
I have attached the links of some of the official websites for more information.

3.SRM Institute Of Science And Technology
Hope you have got the gist of the topic. All the best and work hard.
Dear candidate
The minimum percentage for engineering is 45 percentage so as you got 62 you are eligible to join for engineering but sorry to say most of the college admissions will be based on JEE MAINS and their respective entrance examinations or EAMCET for AP and Telangana so, with only board examination marks which is only 62 percent you may have lot of options or not very good college but there are still some college which take admission via board marks. So, yes you can join engineering in those particular colleges.
Hope this Information is helpful.
