I heard that all entrance exams were merged into neet. then why we had cmc vellore?

Cmc vellore admisision were primarily done through neet candidates qualifying the neet were called for a screening test and the selection was based on that. All medical entrance test except aiims and jipmer are bound to take admission through neet.

yeah.. you are right.. the admission to all thr medical colleges except aiims and jipmer will be done through marks and rank obtained by candidate in neet ug exam.
However you have to separately apply for cmc vellore for participating in its counselling..

CMC Vellore MBBS Admission 2018 will be on basis of NEET 2018. But counselling will be conducted by CMC Vellore separately. Therefore, candidates have to fill a form by depositing fee separately for it.
