I hv a 46.80% in 12th and 10th 63.80% am i eligible for cat exam ?

Considere get in CAT exam 99% above this time i will eligible get admission in IIMA of not ? Notes I hv 10th 63.80% and 12th 46.77% ?

Dear Ujwal,

Yes, you are eligible to appear in CAT exam. The minimum eligibility to appear in CAT exam is atleast 50% marks in GRADUATION for general class and 45% marks for SC/ST/DA categories. Since, you have got 46.08% marks in 12th, you can appear for the exam.

However once you clear CAT then the marks of class XIIth and Xth play a role.

Hi Ujwal,

Your marks in class 10th and 12th are considered at the time of final merit list in IIMs and other top B-schools for admissions. However, you must have at least 50% marks in graduation from a recognised board in order to be eligible to apply for CAT exam.
