I hv not started my studies yet.. but in mock i manage to get 70 75 %ile in CAT.. if i start now is it possible to get 100%ile.. nd tips pls

If you haven't started your studies it is high time that you start now. Bridging that gap from 75 to 100 or even 75 to 95+ is difficult. You have to analyse your mock tests. Find out the areas you are weak in and start practicing them. When you give a mock test see how much time you take for each section and how many questions you are able to answer. Use that to manage your time better and answer as many questions correctly as you can.

Also practice is the key. The more you practice the better you will get. As you don't have much time it is highly important that you give as many mock tests as you can. Mock tests will help you gain speed and actually give you an idea of where you stand. So, that way you are able to track if you are making any progress or not and how much more hard work and practice you need to give. I can't stress it enough. Give as many mock tests as you can.

It majorly depends on the examination course that you have covered and the practice you did with the reference books and the mock CAT.

If you were scoring 75 percentile there were definitely some weak areas may it be in the concepts or in the practice or may be the test taking strategy.

Now if you have covered the course and know the concepts thoroughly you need to give a lot of Mocks to build up a strategy for the main examination. You need to analyse your number of questions attempted, your accuracy, your speed and your performance in individual sections. Try to improve your weaknesses and improve your scores in the mocks.

I would not say that doing all these will lead to a definite 100 percentile but it would definitely help you score a good percentile.

There is a huge difference between the 75 and 100 percentile. As you goes up with the percentile there is a very tough competition in score which makes it hard for you to even increase 0.1percentile. In the initial stage you can even increase 2-3 percentile with just 1 number which is not the case later.

To improve your percentile you need to brush up on your basics and give up lots of online mock test and analyse their solutions which will help you in overcoming your mistakes and come up with a strategy to attempt your paper which will definitely help you in improving your marks and percentile. It will also help you in knowing your strength and weakness which will help you in attempting easy questions first that will help you in reducing the chance of errors and missing an easy question. Also you will get enough time to attempt medium level questions so this will overall improve your speed and accuracy leading to increase in percentile.

If we think out in practical sense then you can easily get 90+ percentile if you start preparing now and with some smart work like making up a perfect strategy to attempt paper you can also reach by 95 percentile. 100 percentile is like a farfetched thing but still you should always aim for high percentile. 100%tile is a far fetched dream.yet you can try your level best and start preparing for it upto 8-10 hours a day.. with special enphasis on quant and LR.
Also as the exam is near you need to give as many mock tests as you can.
