I live at mumbai and i want to pursue M.sc is it compulsory that i must do with any entrance or on the merit base i can get admission

Yes there is eligibilty criteria and enterance exams too

hello gayatri if you have passed with Bcs in chemistry by atleast scoing 50% In that subject then you are eligible for doing M.sc. It is generally done on merit basis!

Admissions into top colleges in Mumbai shall take place through Aggregate of your Graduation scores, Class X and XIIth scores.
For IIT Bombau, you shall require IIT JAM exams to qualify for Msc courses.
