However to claim domicile of KCET, you should have appeared and passed a minimum of 7 years of your Academic period starting from 1st standard to 12th class as on July 1st of the exam year. Then there is also eligibility criteria for ward of Defense Personnel, migrant candidates of Jammu and Kashmir, eligibility criteria of candidates 'mother tongue. No,you cannot give KCET exam as to fulfil the eligibility criteria of KCET 2019, the candidate should have studied and passed from a recognised institution situated in Karnataka.

Or

The candidates who are children of migrants of Jammu and Kashmir are required to show proof of migration which they can get from the jurisdictional District Magistrate and Deputy Commissioner” of any state in India.
