I m 39 year,belong to sc cast.i got a 49% marks in class 12,and 38 % marks in B.com,present time doing m.com final year.can i LLB .
Dear Sarda Prasad ,
Glad to know that you’re interested in pursuing law programme. The age has never been a factor to stop someone from getting educated.
Moreover, the BCI, upon the Supreme Court order has removed the age cap for pursuing a law programme. Therefore your age won’t be a problem.
Coming towards your academic qualification. You will need at least 40 per cent marks in your graduation or post graduation to be considered eligible for LLB admission process. This academic qualification criteria makes you slightly ineligible for the three-year LLB admission. However, the chances may develop only if you secure the minimum percentage of marks in your post graduate programme.
I hope this can clarify your doubt.
In case there is still something with which I can help you out, feel free to counter question me.
All the best!
Thank you.
This will depend on which college you choose and which exam you opt for.
Minimum 40% marks is must in SC or ST category in graduation for all University and secondly age upper cap is generally within 32 years so chances are extremely low for LLB cojrse.
