Yes, of course! It is a great approach. As engineers are in large numbers in all management INSTITUTE, so you will be privileged by IIMs in the form of divergence points about 5 points, but only if you secure an outstanding score in CAT.
If you want to do management in continuation without taking drop after completing your degree, you should start preparing as soon as possible.
So start preparing for Common Admission Test for B schools as early as possible because you will not get enough time once you get enrolled in full time course.
