Hello,
If you are average in your studies, then there's no need to worry for it, you can still crack JEE by hard work.First off, join a good coaching institute.
Don't miss any of their classes. Follow their plan. Take all exams conducted by them.
Also, buy NCERT chemistry books. They are the ideal ones for jee preparation.
You should try to finish your syllabus within October/November.
Then starts your revision period. Revise all the chapters, religiously.
Start taking Mock Tests from December. At that time, your goals should be taking a full syllabus mock test in the morning, going through the solutions at night and in between, focus should be on 2-3 chapters, starting with class 11 chapters. Try working on sums from those few chapters.
Buy a JEE Archive and go through once. You will get an idea of the important chapters.
For chemistry, you must by heart learn all the topics of NCERT, sometimes there's direct questions from it.
Hope it helps & best of luck.
