I passed out this year but i have a backlog, can i eligible for gate?????

Dear Tushar, if you have a backlog, technically you should complete it before the final semester of your current course. If you can clear your backlog within 4 years along with the final semester exams, you are eligible to appear for GATE. But because you have a backlog but already passed out, unfortunately you are not eligible for GATE.You should complete your backlog to be eligible.

Let me clear your doubt. You are eligible for gate exam if you are final year or have completed your btech. There is no effect of backlog in gate exam.
As you have passed this year you are eligible for gate exam.

Mam, are u sure ?? bcz many peoples are saying that i cannot give the exam as i havee backlog, I am not able to apply And if i can give the exam then how would i able to fill the form if they ask about year of passing and documents.

You can give gate exam if you have cleared your backlog but as you have not cleared your backlog you cannot give gate exam
I got backlog in 5th sem(3rd year) a ca I give gate 2023 exam , before clearing this backlog (because 7th sem exam and gate 2023 will be in the same month (feb).
