According to the new eligibility criteria you need to score 75% marks in board exam or you should be in top 20 percentile.

If you are not fulfilling the eligibility criteria you are not eligible for the exam.
Is This eligibility criteria is same for all categories(G/OBC/SC/ST)
If your top 20 percentile is not then your are not eligible for admission in NIT and IIT but you are eligible for admission in of various sate engineering collage...
