JIPMAT is conducted for admission into the IIM Bodhgaya and IIM Jammu IPM program. The eligibility criteria mentions that candidates need to have passed their class 12 or equivalent with 60% marks (5% relaxation to Pw/SC/ST) in the respective years of 2019, 2020 or should be appearing for 2021. Candidates need to pass their class 10 with 60% marks (5% relaxation to PwD/SC/ST) in the year 2017 and not before.
If you belong to reserved category(SC/ST/PwD), you are eligible for JIPMAT and also will get admission into IIM. If you are from general category. you are no longer eligible for JIPMAT and even for admission into IIM. IIM do consider weightage of class 10, 12 and JIPMAT scores for final selection. But, less marks in class 10 do not pose any such restriction as long as you meet the eligibility criteria.
