Hi
Yes you are eligible for Jee but you are not eligible for NITs and IITs.
You can apply for good private universities or institutes who are taking their own entrance exam and having their own admission criteria like:
SHIVNADAR UNIVERSITY
NORTHCAP UNIVERSITY
MANIPAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
BIT
IILM UNIVERSITY,GURUGRAM
LOVELY PROFESSIONAL UNIVERSITY
BML MUNJAL UNIVERSITY
AMITY UNIVERSITY
SRM UNIVERSITY etc
You can also try for state level counselling for engineering admission.
IILM UNIVERSITY,GURUGRAM is offering B.tech in computer Science and Information Technology with contemporary computing areas like:
Cloud Computing
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Big data
Internet of Things (IoT)
Machine Learning
Deep Learning
Image processing
Block Chain
You are definitely eligible for appearing in JEE mains examination but you won't be eligible for admission in NITs,IIITs and CFTIs and further more even if you qualify for JEE advance, you won't be able to get admission into IITs because as per the eligibility criteria one must have 75% marks in 12th board or must be in top 20 percentile to secure a seat in these institutions.
I hope this helps.
Anant, To qualify for JEE Mains, there is no minimum aggregate criteria. But if you want to join NITs, IIITs or CFTIs then you should score a minimum aggregate of 75% only in your 12th. 11th marks aren't considered. And then to appear for JEE Advanced which is the gateway for admission to IITs, you will need to fulfill the 75% aggregate condition. Now it is 75% for General Category and 65% for Reserved Categories. So how much you score in 12th is what matters to secure your eligibility for NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and JEE Advanced. You haven't mentioned your Categor. If you belong to General Category, then unfortunately you cannot appear for JEE Advanced or take admission to NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs. You may have to appear for Improvement exams if there is a possibility. But if you belong to Reserved Categories you are eligible.
