I studied in ap from first to tenth standard but my study certificate has private on it. I did my inter, degree and pg in ap as well. do I belong to ap? will I be considered local or not for ap dsc and if I am considered non local can I use my inter, degree and pg study certificates to prove my residence in ap
Yes, you may still be considered a local candidate for AP DSC, especially since you studied Inter, Degree, and PG in Andhra Pradesh.
The term “Private” on your school certificate means you weren't in a government school, but your place of study still counts.
Use study certificates from Intermediate to PG to support your claim for local status.
Hello Niveditha,
Yes, you will be eligible as a local candidate for the Andhra Pradesh DSC. Even if your 1st to 10th study certificate states "private", you can still claim to be local. You're an intermediate (10+2), degree and PG done in Andhra Pradesh.
According to the rules laid down by Andhra Pradesh State government (Presidential Order), The candidate is local, if he/she studied in Andhra Pradesh for (minimum) four consecutive academic years (in the local area) out of the seven academic years preceding to the qualifying examination. Since you have undertaken Intermediate, Degree and PG courses in Andhra Pradesh, this will satisfy the required local candidature condition. You may submit these study certificates to prove your local status.
