I want to become an architect. What should I do?

Most of the Universities offers a bachelor’s degree in architecture (B.Arch.) It takes 5 years to complete this degree. To take admission in these universities and colleges require a minimum score of 60% in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Most of the University and college accept student based on entrance exam like JEE Mains, National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA), and Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT). Prepare for these exam and you can join architect college. one more thing you must be good in sketching, maths and things related to architecture designs.

Architects conceptualize and design buildings and cities and a Bachelor’s of Architecture (B.Arch) imparts expertise in this field. To be eligible, you must complete 10+2 with PCM as core subjects. Those with 50% marks are eligible to appear in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA 2017). After B.Arch, one can either go for Master’s programmes in India or abroad or choose to practice in the field. Job profiles include architect, interior and spatial designer.
