I want to do BSC in agriculture, I have passed my 10th, now what should i do 11th 12th or agriculture diploma. If Ag diploma is though?
Dear Aspirant,
Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. Eligibility for B.Sc. In Agriculture is to get Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent.
So, you can pursue 12th or can pursue your diploma in agriculture. It is your choice to pursue it.
There are ample of opportunities in this field both in Government and in Private sector. Getting a good job depends on various factors like from where you have done your Graduation, your skills, your knowledge about the field, the Industrial experience and exposure if you have any.
A graduate/ post-graduate in this field can get appointed as an Agricultural Research Scientist, Agriculture Officer, Production Manager, Farm Manager, etc. Interested students can also opt for jobs in the field of teaching, banking, and insurance.
