i want to give imucet examination next year but ive scored 35/70 in chem or 64/100 including practical marks am i still eligible or should i go for improvement?
Hello,
Here is an overview of your query :-
-
Eligibility Criteria for IMU-CET :
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 60% aggregate in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and 50% in English .
- Chemistry marks are typically part of the overall PCM calculation.
-
Your Current Scores :
- Scoring 35/70 in Chemistry theoretical or 64/100 (with practical) may not directly affect eligibility if your overall PCM aggregate meets the 60% requirement.
-
Improvement Suggestion :
- If your PCM aggregate falls below 60%, opting for improvement in Chemistry (or another subject in PCM) would be advisable to meet the criteria.
- Improvement can also enhance your preparation and confidence for IMU-CET.
Final Decision :
- Check your overall PCM percentage first. If it meets the eligibility, you can focus on CET preparation. Otherwise, improvement is necessary.\
Hope it helps !
Hello,
To be eligible for IMU-CET, you must meet the minimum eligibility criteria, which includes scoring at least 60% in Chemistry. Considering your current score of 64/100, including practical marks, you meet the eligibility criteria. However, since the competition is intense, it's recommended to improve your score to increase your chances of securing a good rank. Focus on strengthening your weak areas and aim to score at least 80-90% to be competitive.
