I want to know about eligibility to seek admission at NIT

With this rank, it would be difficult for you to get any good NIT. Only options for you are North-East NITs or Srinagar etc.

I regret to inform you that with such a low score you cannot get admission into any top nits or iiits.
But still you can get admission into lower nits like nit srinagar , nit aizwal and rest all northeast lower nits.

As top nits are most sought college in india so they have high cutoffs for admission into the college.
And also with such a low rank you cannot option for the subjects you want to pursue you are going to get only lower branches.

So either you accept the branch or else take a year drop to get admission into top nit with your choice branch.

Your percentile is good. According to your rank there are well chances to get NIT college. Every year the cut-offs changes for various NITs so based on previous year's cut-offs your rank should be from 2200-10000 for obc candidate . Moeover their is 27% reservation for obc candidate so chances are good. Hope you find it useful.
