hi,

see if you have passed 12th course then you can directly join in b.tech program, however no all diploma college has btech course , however since you have interest in robotics, you should know that only a few institute in india has btech robotics course, since robotics comes under interdisciplinary course, it will be better for you if you join diploma or btech course on electronics and communication engineering, since there is many applications of electronics in robotics,
