I was a Science student in 12th and now I want to persue BBA through CUET ug 2026. I'm a dropper so can I give CUET 2026 with my 12th subjects that is PCM and get into BBA college after exams or I have to study Eco and Business instead of Physics and Chemistry???? Help !!! Targets is top govt university of India for BBA.
Yes, you can apply for BBA through CUET UG 2026 even if you were a Science student in 12th with PCM subjects. CUET BBA exam does not require you to have studied Economics or Business in 12th; your eligibility depends on passing 12th and meeting the minimum CUET criteria.
However, since your target is a top government university in India, it’s recommended to practice BBA-related sections like Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, General English, and General Awareness thoroughly, as these are part of CUET BBA. You don’t need to switch your 12th subjects.
You can apply for CUET UG 2026 for BBA even if your 12th subjects were PCM. CUET eligibility for BBA does not require studying Economics, Business Studies, or Accountancy in 12th; you only need to have passed Class 12 from a recognized board with the minimum required marks. The CUET exam for BBA focuses on general aptitude, logical reasoning, English language, and quantitative ability rather than specific 12th-grade subjects, so your PCM background will not be a barrier. After qualifying CUET with a good score, you can participate in counselling and seek admission to BBA programs in top government universities that accept CUET scores. You do not need to change your subjects to Economics or Business; you can directly target top universities with focused CUET preparation.
You need to appear for cuet for bba admission there is no need to study extra subjects normally colleges accepts mandatory subjects like English, Mathematics and the General Test but if you are targetting top government colleges you need to select subjects like Economics or Business Studies along with mandatory subjects.
For example, Delhi University's BMS program accepts language, Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, and the General Test, without requiring Business Studies or Economics.
Therefore, a combination of English, Mathematics, and the General Test is compulsory but you need to check eligibility criteria of your interested college to know the exact subjects which required.
