For IIT, you need to score 98-99 percentile, so that you are qualified for JEE Advanced. You need to be focused throughout the year, and study hard. Make a time table for yourself, so that you can complete your syllabus and also have atleast 2months left for revision.
Here are some good study materials that you can follow:
For Physics-
1. Concepts of Physics (H.C.Verma)
2. Practice book for Physics (D.C.Pandey)
3. Problems in general Physics (I.E.Irodov)
For Chemistry-
1. Concepts of Organic Chemistry (O.P.Tandon)
2. Concise Inorganic Chemistry (J.D.Lee)
3. Modern Approach to Chemical Calculations (R.C.Mukherjee)
For Maths-
1. Objective Maths for JEE (R.D.Sharma)
2. IIT Mathematics (M.L.Khanna)
3. Degree level differential calculus (A. Das Gupta)
Apart from these, you need to complete your syllabus from your textbooks.
Also, you need to solve the previous year question papers as many times as possible. Give regular mock tests to know your preparation.
Hope this answer helps you.
Good luck!!
Hi
No need to worry at all dear even if you are from state board, there are many students who are from state board , they prepare well for their jee examination and make it to iit as well ,Follow the below tips to prepare well for your JEE Advance:-
Complete the syllabus of JEE first , your major focus should be on clearing concepts while going through the syllabus as JEE questions are quite difficult and crystal clear concepts are required to solve them , go through solved examples first to learn how concepts learnt in the chapter are used to solve questions
Practice questions after finishing each chapter you should practice numericals and mcqs
You should practise at least 80 to100 numericals and mcqs in Each chapter to master concepts so that you can solve numericals and MCQs easily
Revise your concepts, important formulas etc at regular intervals, like once in a week or 15 days .
