    Sai, JEE Mains is the entrance examination for admissionnto State Run Government Enginerring Colleges, Private Engineering Collehes, IIITs, NITs and CFTIs. And JEE Advanced is the entrance examination for admission to IITs. To appear in JEE Advanced, a diploma holder can apply in JEE Main 2020. But their rank & score in JEE Main will not be considered for admission in NITs & CFTIs. So a diploma holder can appear for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced but cannot use his/her JEE Mains score for NITs and CFTIs.

    Hi there,

    If you are in first year and you have not attempted jee mains twice before then yes you are definitely eligible for jee mains exam and if you qualify jee mains then you can also give the advance exam.
