Iam from tamil nadu.i am aiming for a government medical college which is good in extra curricular too.which is the best choice for me?

hi britt, i did my schooling in tamil nadu as well and i am doing my medicine in pondicherry,i have my friends in many colleges and as you belong to state quota, i would suggest you to try for stanley medical college or madras medical college, they are good at both academic and extra curriculars too.you have Christian medical college vellore as well, but whether it comes under NEET or not, is yet to be decided.hope this helps, good luck

First what yoy count for extra curricular activity every small colleges held some co curricular and extra curricular activity to make best doctor
But some collges focused more on extra
One name i get on my mibd while thinking through is AFMC PUNE
apart from it AIIMS NEW DELHI  is also a good option

Undoubtedly AFMC.No other college is as par excellence as AFMC.The degree of extra curricular activities that the medicos there do is beyond the imagination of normal medicos.Go for that. You will love life.

Hi Britt O Dominic

Medical colleges do not really concentrate on co curricular activities … Colleges like AIIMS and JIPMER have a strong students union and a strong culture of holding grand fest… But both of them have only average sporting facilities, this is true with all other government medical colleges, however private medical colleges like Kmc Manipal and dy Patil have world class sporting facilities, but they charge a bomb for it …. All this is to cater to the needs of the NRI student … An average middle class medical student will not be bothered about sporting facilities before choosing a college, does not mean he is not interested in sports, he/she will make the best use of whatever facilities are provided.

All the Best.
