You can apply as the eligibility for the same is, the candidate must have cleared the first year of bachelor's degree with at least 45% marks under 10+2+3 pattern of education from any recognized university. Also, you will have to clear the university level entrance test as well and the admissions are done on the basis of the rank in the Entrance exam conducted by the University and apart from that, separate merit lists are prepared for each category i.e. candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, PH categories and if you talk about the preparation then I would suggest you to get previous year papers and practice them. In case, you live nearby JNU then you can buy the handwritten notes and previous year papers from the book store located there.
