ICAR is a premier institute for Agricultural research and development.

But no institute is there who can assure for the job guarantee ( not even the IITs),

it all depends upon the student and the type of attitude the student is having while studying in any college. My advise for you is to forget about the branch in ICAR and better focus on building a strong profile of yours and try to excel in you semester studies and get good grades.

For building a strong profile you can follow the steps if you really want:

1.Participate in the competitions organised in you college.

2.Participate in the state level and National level competitions related to your field.

3.Do some good Research and project work and try to get them publish in the Agriculture Journals and Magazines.

4. Get good grades in the semester exams.

These things will definitely make your Resume  stand out from the rest and you will have higher chances of getting selected in JOBS ( Govt, Jobs also)
