if a CAT candidate who has just got selected to study in FMS and also in any one of the IIMs(A B C), what is the general trend in this case?

i would suggest something different, i think that even FMS is a very prestigious college for MBA and so it should be the locational preference that should matter in your case instead of going for the reputation of the college

@sachin: Where there is IIM's there is no trend. IIM's are by all means considered priority. Though fees is much high than FMS but reputation and branding is above than all b schools. So if finance is not an issue with you, go with IIM's.
