Hello Dear Student,
If a person has a DHMS (Diploma in Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery) and wants to pursue further studies, the options today are limited.
- Graded BHMS: Earlier, there was a 2-year Graded BHMS programme for DHMS diploma holders. However, this programme is no longer being offered in India, and there are currently no institutions admitting students to a Graded BHMS course under the present National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH) regulations. The current regulations provide for the regular BHMS programme only.
- MD (Homoeopathy): To pursue an MD in Homoeopathy , a candidate must possess a recognized BHMS degree and meet the eligibility requirements prescribed by the NCH. A DHMS qualification alone is not sufficient for admission to the MD programme.
Hope it helps!
