if a student did not register for JOSAA counselling and wants to register for the special round counselling what to do as the portal is not allwing

Hey there,

If you mean CSAB Special Round 2026 (the counselling after JoSAA), then not registering for JoSAA does not by itself prevent a candidate from registering for CSAB Special. CSAB states that candidates must complete fresh registration for CSAB Special; its registration process is separate from JoSAA.

However, there are eligibility conditions—most importantly, the candidate must have qualified JEE Main 2026 and satisfy the CSAB eligibility rules.
