If a student is not well during Cap round seat allotment process then can their relative or friend do the procedure by going to ARC centre ?

Hi Riya, thanks for your query.

The candidate has to report at the centre for seat allotment process because they have to verify different things. The also ask for your signature at many places and things like document verification requires candidate to be present at the location.

Sir if there is an emergency or any serious problem even then they won’t allow friend or relative to do seat allotment produre on behalf of the candidate?. Actually from 2 days I am not well I am suffering from diarrhoea and I don’t think I can go for cap round proces. Thats why asking this question

Hi Riya, I can understand your situation but you see that counselling procedure requires signature and in person verification of documents of the candidate. Because at times, many cases comes where people forged the documents and candidate was different from the real candidate giving the exam. Further, you can check with your counselling centre if they allow.
