Hi Omkari
It isn’t feasible to predict the cutoff marks of a medical college before the release of NEET results. However, as per the last year data the candidates who scored close to 450 marks got admission to private medical colleges of Andhra Pradesh stat e. You must note that these candidate were local candidates and applied for seats which are available under State Quota. The cutoff score for management quota seats will be much lower.
This year the cutoff score will change depending on the number of seats available and the performance of the applicants. Further, from this year onwards Andhra Pradesh will be participating in the counselling process of All India Quota seats. Therefore, 15% of the seats will be transferred to the central pool.
Hope it helps!
There are total 33 MBBS Colleges in Andhra Pradesh and affiliated to NRT University AP and total MBBS seats in Andhra Pradesh state is 4850. Out of these, 18 are private Medical colleges. Private Colleges have lower cut offs but the fees are higher. Last year (2017) a mere score of 210 marks was required to get a seat. However, this year the cut offs are higher as the competition get tougher. The chances are quite unpredictable because of the shoot in cut offs. However, you can try through 85% State Quota.
All the very!
