If i get over 9 CGPA in NIT trichy in mechanical engineering how much package can i expect from placement? Also what package can i expect by getting over 9 CGPA in EEE?

First of all CGPA doesn't matter, after you have a minimum of 6.5 or 7, secondaly placement are never done on the basis of CG. Its done on the basis of your skills, communication, and other factor. Although CG plays some role, but its not affect placement.
Now ,coming on package depends upon the company in which you get placed. For example in private core companies you may hardly cross 9lakh, but at same time in non core you may touch as high as 20 lakh, in PSUs too you may get upto 15lakh. Both in EEE and Mech are same condition, they just differ in subject content and working things.
