If you register for MP-DTE (Madhya Pradesh Directorate of Technical Education) counselling, your JEE Main category rank is considered for college allotment and not the common (overall) rank.
- Category Rank is used only if you have applied under a reserved category (like SC, ST, OBC, EWS etc.) and seats are reserved for that category.
- If you have applied under General category, then in that case your overall (common) rank will be considered.
