If i want to be an ias officer and i am in 1st year of bsc..then should i use online coaching classes or normal coaching i.e. from centres
Akshat
UPSC every year conducts civil services exam to recruit the candidates for IAS, IPS, IFS and other A class services. Since you are in first year of B.S.c hence i would suggest first read ncert of class 6 to 12 and after that take any online or offline coaching. Both has its merits and demerits hence i would suugest to opt for offline coaching which will help you to meet other aspirants who are also preparing their level of exam. UPSC is job which is generalist in nature you can't decide the policies sitting in room hence meet the people and be extrovert and discuss & debate about other aspirants and learn the nuances of upsc
Whether you should do online coaching or offline coaching should depend on the fact that how much time you are willing to give to the coaching and how far are the coaching centres in your vicinity. If you wish to give more time and the coaching centres are near you then you should go for regular ones otherwise you can opt for online coaching. Hope this helps.
