If I want to sit for jee main then I have to choose math,physics,chemistry not biology.is it true?

JEE Main exam is conducted for taking admission in Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT's), National Institutes of Technology (NIT's) and other participating institutes in B.Tech/B.E. undegraduate course in engineering.

As per the official notification of JEE Main, candidates specifically requires combination of Physics and Mathematics as complusory subjects and Biology/Biotechnology/Chemistry/Technical vocational courses as optional subject for admission in BE/B.Tech.

For B.Arch admission, Mathematics is compulsory while combination can be chosen from available subjects in board exams.

Yes for JEE Mains, the subjects required is only Physics , Chemistry, Maths.
You dont need biology for JEE Mains. If you have subject combination PCM or PCMB you can apply for JEE mains but biology is not compulsory.
Incase you wish to go for B.Tech biotechnology then in some colleges they do ask for both Biology as well as Maths. So choose accordingly.
