if Iwere to cross the cut off for CMC vellore what are the hurdles in their own counselling ?can i continue instate counselling if rejected

CMC is one of the best medical colleges in the country.
The cutoffs usually is very high. And the fact that you have secured such a score is remarkable.
However crossing the cutoff doesnt guarentee admission. CMC conducts a interview round where by the eligible candidates are grouped into groups of 5-7 members and a one on one interview is conducted.Questions are basically about yourself and why you wanna join the institute. There can be a bible based questions for candidates applying for sponsorship.
More over out of total seats 84 seats are for sponsorship candidates. So the competition for the limited unreserved seats is high.
And counselling for CMC is through AIQ. And it wont affect your participation in state counselling.
If you get rejected in the interview round of CMC, still then you will be eligible for state counselling.
