If masters degree is done from distance, will it be problem for him to get a an assistant professor job in govt. or private colleges?
Distance learning programs have same value as normal programs according to UGC but in reality they have very less worth. For government jobs and Civil sector jobs it won't be that of a problem but for private sector jobs they won't give you a job.
So as you have done distance learning master's so you wont be able to get a job as assistant professor in any colleges or Universities. In government colleges you might get a job if you have some inner help but in private you have no chances.
Hope it helps
Ther is no problem in getting done your education from distance.
It has same value as regular. On a note to noticed.
Government has passed an order of distance education because of the students who can't go to colleges regularly.
So,you need not be worried about it.Untill and unless you have good score you can go for it.
You will be getting a job in government as well as in private.
Don't be much tensed about it.If distance had no value for students for there jobs government would had rejected the order.
Hope you have understood my answer.
