For Govt colleges, you dont have to apply separate. Application for NEET is sufficient. If you qualify for AIQ seats, you will be called for online counseling and you can choose the colleges.
Sameway, for state quota colleges, the counseling will be done by the respective state govt authorities - either online counseling or manual counseling. Either they will call directly based on the NEET rank or you might have to do one time application for all the state govt colleges. This includes govt quota in the private medical colleges too.
- However for private colleges and private medical universities, one need to apply separately. The original SC ruling envisaged a centralised agency to conduct the combined counseling for all the seats in the private colleges, atleast state wise. Last year it didnt happen. This year also it may not happen. We need to apply separately for each and every private medical college.
