If you are intending to clear IIT, then you must have ti practice all the chapters equally. But knowing about the important chapters will help you more. Coordinate Geometry, Limits, Continuity and Differentiability, Integral Calculus, Complex numbers and Quadratic Equation, Statistics and Probability, Matrices and Determinants, Three Dimensional Geometry and Vector Algebra are very important chapters and most of the questions come from these chapters.

The reality is that you can never fully predict any of the JEE papers correctly. So, it is better to prepare all the topics.
