Actually fee is not same for all IIT'S. It varies from each other.

For example in IIT kanpur you will have to pay 22k per annum as your Semester fees and rest 26k for your mess and Hostel charges. Whereas in IIT Bombay fee is around 25k per annum and 30k for mess and Hostel charges.

The difference is not much as you can see it is something which is manageable.
