The Indian Institute of Technology is the foremost engineering Institute in India. Doing a course from IITs will definitely increase your chances of getting a better job. However, you also need to score a high grade for a better job. IIT-Roorke is probably highest in placements. CS field gets more placements. The highest domestic package was 47 LPA and the highest international package was Rs. 1.5 crore per year.
