IITs are top notch Engineering Colleges of India, it is the  dream of every engineering aspirant to get into IITs for their engineering.

To be eligible for admission in btech in IITS , one must have passed with 12th with physics,  chemistry, mathematics and a language subject and needs at least  75% marks in aggregate in class 12 if belong to general or obc category or at least  65% marks if belongs to SC/ST or  must be in the top 20 percentile in  class 12 examination.

Admission in IITs is through JEE advanced examination

Now, to be eligible for JEE advanced one needs to qualify JEE mains first . So ,if you want to get into IIT you need to qualify both JEE mains and advance
