Dear Anannya, if you are interested in working for the Indian Navy, you are inducted through Shot Service Comission (SSC) Non technical scheme. Female candidates can get into Indian Army through Common Defence Services Exams. This year it was held on February 3rd. Now the accademic eligibility for CDS is that you shuld have passed Graduation in any stream. So even if you are in Commerce stream, provided you are eligible in other parameters and you qualify in CDS, you are good to go. You can apply next year for CDS exam.
