    Yes if you are seeking admission to IIT you need minimum 75%aggregate in class12th or can be amingst top20 percentile in Jharkhand board.

    Improvemnt exams can onky be given in succeding year so make sure you give at earliest forbatleast one or more exams as per your preference to score aggregate above 75% and hence be eligible for IIT.

    Yeah improvement exam will play a vital role in such cases because to take the elite institutes like IIT or NIT through IIT-JEE you need to score atleast 75% percentage in Class 12th. So go with that and yaah off course it will be beneficial for you.
