I'm doing MBBS 1st year but Iwant to become a scientist?shall i discontinue or not?

No you need not to discontinue your course. After completing your MBBS you can go into research field and then become a scientist.
Some uniersities provide direct admission to PhD course after MBBS. Here is a list of few such universities
- Indian institute of science, bangalore
- National centre for biological sciences, hyderabad
- Tata institute of fundamental research, Mumbai
After you Phd, You can go for post doctrates and start your research work.
