I'm in 3rd year of ba bed integrated course, my exams of 3rd year are not completed. am I eligible as an appearing student in state psc as per the notification of recruitment says that final year student can appear , what is final year in ba bed , can I fill the form
Hello Dear Student,
In most recruitment notifications, "final year appearing candidates" means candidates who are in the last year/last semester of the qualifying degree and whose results are awaited.
For an Integrated BA-B.Ed course , the degree is completed only after the entire integrated program is finished. So:
- If your BA-B.Ed is a 4-year integrated course , you are considered a final-year student only in the 4th year .
- If it is a 4-year BA-B.Ed and you are currently in the 3rd year , you are generally not considered a final-year candidate .
- If it is a different duration (for example, a 3-year integrated structure) and you are in the last academic year, then you may qualify as a final-year candidate.
The most important factor is the exact wording of the State PSC notification. Some PSCs allow:
- Candidates who are appearing in the final year/final semester of the qualifying examination.
- Candidates who can produce the required degree certificate before document verification or appointment.
Hope it helps!
