I'm nervous about going into mbbs

Raghav, at first I would want to say that its normal , we all feel depressed, stressed out , we all are nervous at one point and cheerful at other, this is part of life . There are  some days also in our lives that we fear trying something different , we are nervous to talk on stage or convey our ideas to the crowd but in the end its is best when you realise that it is okay to be nervous about our careers, future , jobs, money , financial constraint in our families. Being a law student I always feels like there are so many advocates in India how will I survive, the people who are advocating for more than 15 years are not able to get where they desired to be then what will happen to me when I will enter into this field but I know that hard work can only pay me off .

Second always think outside the box , do not restrict yourself from trying on different and interesting thing . Judge the reasonability of your decisions, even while trying something new ( like taking up a new course or enrolling for diploma ).

Third thing do what you think makes you happy , if taking medical does not make you happy I think you should quit, I know your parents will not think this is right ; but always remember this time will pass, they will stop and when they will see you happy and successful in the field you chose they will accept you .I am advising this because if you are not happy with what you are doing , you would not be successful and you will regret your whole life when you have got only one life.

Fourth, if you are confident about doing it then go for it because it is natural to be nervous about your career but always remember that your college days are your most crucial days, if you have committed to be a doctor then always be efficient in what you like doing and push your limits to learn more because  these days will never come back in your life and as you cannot go back to your school days and learn what you didn't , here also what you have learnt will be stay with you forever and what you miss out will create a problem because now you have entered professional field .
